Accessibility

eloona GmbH wants as many people as possible to be able to use this website without barriers. On this page, we describe what we have implemented to achieve this, where limitations still exist, and how you can report barriers to us.

This statement applies to the website eloona.eu.

Legal Classification

Our offering is directed at companies and professionals from industry and technology. No contracts can be concluded via this website: there is no online shop and no online booking. In our assessment, the website therefore does not fall within the scope of the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG).

Nevertheless, we voluntarily align ourselves with the requirements that the law provides for digital offerings. The benchmark is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance levels A and AA, which are also referenced by the European standard EN 301 549.

Accessibility Status

This website largely meets the requirements of WCAG 2.1 at levels A and AA. The exceptions known to us can be found in the section Known Limitations.

What we have implemented

Perceivable

  • Images with informational content have a text description. Purely decorative images are skipped by screen readers.
  • Text stands out clearly from the background. The contrast ratio is at least 4.5:1.
  • The display adapts to the screen size, from smartphones to large monitors. Content can be enlarged to 200 percent in the browser without text being cut off.
  • Required fields in forms are marked with an asterisk and a note, not just by color.

Operable

  • Navigation, submenus, expandable questions and answers, and all forms can be operated using the keyboard.
  • The “Skip to content” link at the top of the page takes you directly to the main content.
  • The element currently selected with the keyboard is visibly highlighted.
  • Links and buttons are large enough to be tapped reliably even on a smartphone.
  • Fade-in animations are turned off if you have set “Reduce motion” in your operating system. There is no blinking or flashing content.
  • There are no time limits. You can take as much time as you need for each page and each form.

Understandable

  • Each page has its own descriptive title, exactly one main heading, and a logical sequence of subheadings.
  • The navigation is structured identically on all pages.
  • Form fields have visible labels. For name, email address, and phone number, your browser can automatically suggest entries. Error messages appear as text.
  • Links and buttons are named so that their destination is recognizable.

Robust

  • The pages are structured into header, navigation, main content, and footer. Screen readers can navigate directly to these areas.
  • The language of the page is specified in the source code so that screen readers choose the correct pronunciation.
  • Menus and expandable areas inform assistive technologies whether they are open or closed.

Known Limitations

The following content is not yet or not fully accessible:

  • Product videos and company film: The videos on the product pages and the company film on the home page contain spoken language. They do not have their own subtitles; however, automatically generated subtitles from YouTube can be displayed via the subtitle button in the YouTube player. An audiodescription is currently not available. Upon request, we will gladly provide you with the content as text.
  • Background video on the “About Us” page: The video starts automatically, plays without sound in a loop, and cannot be paused. It is for design purposes only and contains no information.
  • Map on the contact page: The map is from Google Maps and has limited usability with a keyboard and screen reader. Our address is therefore also provided as text on the contact page.
  • PDF documents: Data sheets and other downloadable documents are not yet consistently barrier-free. We will send you the content in a usable format upon request.
  • Individual graphics: On the pages under “Developments,” some graphics do not yet have a text description. They are currently being revised.
  • Offerings from other providers: Our profiles on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, as well as the application portal to which our job advertisements link, are operated by other companies. We have no influence on their accessibility.

What we do not offer

The website is not available in Easy-to-Read language or German Sign Language. It also does not have its own read-aloud function. The content is aimed at a technical professional audience, and for a company of our size, the effort would be disproportionate to the benefit. However, the pages can be used with the read-aloud functions of browsers and operating systems as well as with screen readers.

If you require information in another form, please contact us. We will be happy to assist you personally.

Report Barriers

Have you encountered an obstacle or are you unable to access information? Then please write to us or call us. We will look into the problem and send you the requested information via another method.

Creation of this Statement

This statement was created in October 2026. It is based on a self-assessment: All pages were automatically tested with the axe-core testing tool. In addition, keyboard operation, focus visibility, color contrasts, and the display on small screens were checked manually.

We will re-examine the website in the event of major changes and adapt this statement accordingly.
